The London Parks and Recreation Department and other local organizations have goals of providing the youth of this community with an opportunity to recreation, learn fundamentals of each game, learn sportsmanship characteristics, and have a enjoyable experience. 

Your child can choose from many sports to participate in throughout the season including basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, wrestling, cheerleading, soccer, swimming, and BMX racing. League directors are proud that they can provide quality programs for such minimal costs to each resident. Local youth programs cost between $30-$50 for each sport. The low costs come thanks to many volunteers for each league. LONDON PARKS AND RECREATION "ROOKIE LEAGUE"
TEE-BALL AND COACH PITCH 

The London Parks and Recreation Department and London Area Baseball Council provide recreational summer baseball and softball leagues for local residents to enjoy in the summer months for boys and girls ages 4-15. Cost to register for the leagues range between $40-$50 per athlete pending on the league of choice and age division. 

REGISTRATION 
Registration will be accepted until May 1st . Please download a printable registration form and return to the Parks and Recreation Department (102 South Main Street) with payment (checks made payable to London Parks and Recreation) prior to the deadline. Parents are also asked to download the pre-season registration packet for important information.

The Parks and Recreation "Rookie" leagues host games a Merri-Mac Park on Lincoln Avenue.

LONDON AREA BASEBALL COUNCIL 
MACHINE PITCH AND KID PITCH

The London Area Baseball Council hosts games at the Burr-Wheeler Park or Von Konnel Field for softball (ages 6-15) and baseball (ages 6-15). For more information about any of the LABC leagues visit the official association web site at www.londonareabaseball.com. Registration will be accepted until April 15th.

The London Parks and Recreation Department will open up the 2013 Girls Youth Volleyball season in February. The league is open to girls currently in 2nd-6th grades. Cost to enter the league is $30 (residents) or $40 (non-residents).

The London Parks and Recreation Department organizes and directs boys and girls youth basketball leagues (K-6th grades) each winter. Leagues are hosted at the Community Center. Cost to register for the league is $30 (residents) $40 (non-residents)

The London Wrestling Club is a volunteer supported Club that is directed by Charlie Minner. The Club offers wrestling opportunities for boys and girls ages 5-12. The club season typically is conducted during the months of November-February. The London Wrestling Club participates in the OURWAY assocation that includes other youth wrestling clubs from around Central Ohio. For More Information Contact Charlie Minner at 740-852-9469

The London Parks and Recreation Department is proud to host the London Lightning Swim Team to participate and compete at the London Municipal Pool. The youth swim team is open to boys and girls ages 6-18 years of age. The pay to participate fee to join the team is $40 (residents) $50 (non-residents). Uniform costs are not included in the pay to participate fee.

The London Area Football League is a volunteer supported Club that is directed by Keith Smith. The League offers tackle football opportunities for boys ages (7-12). The league season typically is conducted during the months of September-November. The London Area Football League participates in the Mid-West Buckeye League that includes youth teams from around Madison County. For More Information Contact Keith Smith at 740-248-0814.

The London Parks and Recreation Department organize and manage the youth pee-wee cheerleading association. The youth cheerleaders (3rd-6th grades) will cheer for the players in the London Area Boys Football League that compete in the Mid-West Buckeye Football League that includes West Jefferson, Plain City, and London.

The London Kiwanis Club and London Area Soccer Association provides leagues for K-8th grade throughout the year. Outdoor leagues are hosted at St. Patrick's School, and indoor leagues are hosted at the Armory.

Fall
The fall league is the largest and most popular league known as the London Kiwanis League (sponsored by the London Kiwanis Club). The league has the following divisions. 

• Lil Kickers (ages 4-5)
• Rookie Division (1st-2nd grades)
• Bantam Division (3rd-4th grades)
• Junior League (5th-8th grades) 

Winter
The Indoor league takes place at the Community Center and includes 3-on-3 and 4-on-4 teams (pending on age division). The indoor league splits into two divisions

• Elementary Division 
• Adult Division (14-up)

Spring
The spring league consists of small teams (5-on-5 play) at St. Patrick's school. The league will be split into the three divisions
