City of London Fire Department has provided fire protection to the citizens of London since 1866.  We would like you to meet Jake! Jake 911 Jake was born on June 6 2001, later on that same year Jake was given to the department by one of our own firefighters. Soon after we held a contest with the help from London Elementary School to name the station's new dog. Jake was drawn from a list of names. 

In 2002 Jake and his trainer took part in a 6 week long obedience course in Springfield. Jake passed with straight A's. Jake can now perform several tricks which we use in our fire prevention program.

In our fire prevention program Jake performs stop drop and roll and shows children how to crawl under smoke. Jake spends all his time at the station with the guys on duty. Feel free to stop by and see Jake and the guys on duty.
