Sports and Recreation The Madison County area offers a wide variety of Sports and Recreation opportunities for the entire family to enjoy. Visit one of Ohio's six fish hatchery's and the largest in the Buckeye State. Madison Lanes Bowling Alley Visit the local bowling lanes, located on at 690 North Main Street (State Rte 56). Lanes are open seven days a week including extended hours of 9am-12am on the weekends, and normal hours of 9am-10pm throughout the week. Madison Lake State Park has a great family atmosphere for outings including; shelter houses, grills, basketball court, sand volleyball, playground all while enjoying the beautiful view of Madison Lake. Hickory Grove Public Golf Course Hickory Grove is the only public course in London, and can be found on Big-Plain Circleville Road. The nine-hole course is a great place to spend the afternoon. London Municipal Swimming Pool The Parks and Recreation Department invites visitors to enjoy the summer months at the outdoor swimming pool, located on Park Avenue. The Municipal Pool is open seven days a week (12pm-8pm). Take a tour of Madison County with your family on the Ohio-Erie bike trail. Register for one of the largest wiffleball tournaments in the country, and find out more information including rules and regulations of the tournament that takes place each August in London, Ohio. The London Parks and Recreation Department maintans and hosts ABA BMX races throughout the year at Merri-Mac Park. A great family atmosphere for visitors to enjoy the historic district of London includes playground, shelter house, gazebo, basketball court, and weekday activities.
