London Parks and Recreation Night With the Columbus Clippers

The Department of Parks and Recreation teamed up with the Columbus Clippers this summer to give the participants of the London Rotary Rookie League an opportunity to see the minor leaguers in action on Thursday, July 12, 2007.

All participants of the London Rotary Rookie League will recieve free admission to Thusday's game when they wear there game jersey and baseball cap. The Clippers will take the field against the Charlotte Knights at 7:05pm.

Prior to the game the league will be recognized by taking a parade line-up around the field and having their team name and roster introduced. The first pitch will be thrown out by Emily Minner, of the London Rotary Rookie League (Clippers).

Player's participating in the event need to be at Cooper Stadium at 6:15pm and will meet under section 224 at 6:30pm.

Adults ($6.00) and any other youth players ($3.00) will purchase tickets at the gate.

Player's are also invited to participate in "Swimming with the Sluggers" pool party on Friday, July 13th (8pm-10pm) at the Municipal Pool. All participants and families of both Tee-Ball and Coach Pitch leagues are invited.
