Municipal Pool To Host Special Event Nights

The London Parks and Recreation Department will host special events for families throughout the remainder of the summer at the municipal pool.

On Friday, July 13th the facility invites the entire London Parks and Recreation "Rotary Rookie" Baseball League for a "Swimming with the Sluggers" post-season bash between the hours of 8:00pm-10:00pm.

On Saturday, July 21st the annual Christmas in July celebration will take place with music, games, food, fun, and of course a special visit from Santa Claus. Gates open at 8:00pm, and the final whistle will blow at 10:30pm.

On Saturday, August 11th a Lau will be held at the pool, with decorations, music, games, and food giving you the experience to remember this summer. Gates open at 8:00pm, and the final whistle will blow at 10:30pm.

The highly anticipated Fiesta Party will take place on Saturday, August 25th between the hours of 8:00pm-10:30pm. The facility will be festive for the theme and will include mexican candy, music, food, drinks, and fun!

Admissions for each of these events are $1.00 for pool members, and $2.00 for non-members. For more information about any of these events contact the municipal pool at 852-4462.
