Census Day is April 1. 2010

The US Constitution requires a national census every 10 years. Census questionaires will be delivered or mailed in March 2010/

Every year the federal governmentcan allocate more than $300 billion to states and communites based in part, on census data which also determines the need for services, block grants, and other essential grants to many communities.
